The Mission Inn Foundation presents its new Excursions Series, with its second trip to The Gamble House!
Saturday, March 30 – 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The bus leaves the Mission Inn Museum promptly at 8:00 a.m., please arrive no later than 7:45 a.m.
Cost: $45 for Mission Inn Foundation members, $55 for non-members (includes bus fare and the Gamble House tour only)
The new “Excursions” travel series of the Mission Inn Foundation’s public programming is designed to explore regional Southern California sites that add to our knowledge of the history and time period of the Mission Inn and its founder, Frank Miller. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit and take a private tour of the Gamble House, a National Historic Landmark, located in Pasadena. This extraordinary residence, constructed in 1908, is an excellent example of the American Arts and Crafts style architecture that was popular at the turn of the twentieth century. Charles and Henry Greene designed both the home and its furnishings for its original owners, David and Mary Gamble. Lunch is not included. However, after the tour concludes, we will stop in beautiful Pasadena and you will have the opportunity to visit so
