Jane Clark Cullen, the niece of Marion Clark Miller, Frank Miller’s second wife, and her children preserved a priceless collection of materials related to the Mission Inn and the Miller and Clark families. In 2012,the Mission Inn Foundation and Museum joined in partnership with the Friends of the Mission Inn to acquire these materials. Karen Raines, the Jane Clark Cullen Intern for the Foundation, processed this magnificent collection and will be presenting on the handling of the collection materials, the process involved in developing our exhibit Building a Dream, Preserving a Legacy: The Jane Clark Cullen Collection, and what she has learned about Marion. Please join us for this special opportunity to learn more about the collection and about Marion Clark Miller, who, at times, can be an ambiguous figure in the Mission Inn’s history.
