New benches at Arlington Park provide shady spaces for residents to enjoy the park. The Lincoln Park playground provides a place for neighborhood children to play.

Kids help plant trees at Villegas Park with Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful. Curb Cuts make neighborhood sidewalks accessible to people with physical disabilities.

Whiteside Manor provides housing and support services for people transitioning from homelessness to independent living. New sidewalks on Primrose Drive (shown under construction) provide a safe path for children and other residents to walk their neighborhood.

Two historic houses on Mulberry Street rehabilitated by the Riverside Housing Development Corporation. Rehabilitated houses are sold to low-income first time homebuyers. Kids learn computer skills and receive help with their homework in the Nichols Park Homework Assistance Program.
