Fiscal impact if Measure A is not approved
The Riverside City Council was presented with $6.7 million in proposed cuts to General Fund
services if Measure A is not approved by voters this June. Without Measure A, 79 positions
would be eliminated, including 9 police officers and 12 firefighters.

Riverside City College will host an on-campus community job fair this Friday, May 17th from
10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Meet with over 50 employers, including local government HR departments.

Used Oil and Filter Exchange Event
Recycle and exchange used oil and filters this Saturday, May 18th from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at
AutoZone in the Magnolia Town Center. Bring up to five gallons of used motor oil to be
recycled and pick up a free container for used oil. Also bring your used oil filters and
get a new one at no charge (limit two filters per customer).
