our own community.  Redevelopment allows our City to retain
a portion of existing property assessments and mark them
specifically for local investment — without raising taxes.

Battle of the Bands

The Arlington High School Theatre Department is hosting
the Battle of the Bands this Friday, January 28, at 7 p.m.
at the Arlington High School Lion Den.  Tickets are on sale
for $12 each.  Watch bands battle it out for cash prizes!

 Lunar Festival

Riverside’s first annual Asian Pacific Lunar New Year Festival
will be held downtown on Mission Inn Avenue and Lemon Street
this Saturday, January 29, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.  This event will
have something for everyone. There will be a parade, fashion
show, children’s village, food and wonderful live entertainment.
