The Application Process

The City of Riverside Fire Department is the sponsoring agency for CA-TF6. Participating members include: Corona, Hemet, Murrieta, Pechanga, and Riverside County Fire departments. The training requirements differ between firefighters and civilians.

Applications for Firefighter positions on the Task Force can only be considered for Firefighters currently employed by one of the participating agencies. If you are currently a firefighter in one of these agencies and interested in becoming a US&R member,  go to the Firefighter site below for more details.

A limited number of non-fire civilians’ are also part of the Task Force. They include: licensed structural engineers, medical doctors, certified search dogs and handlers, and heavy rigging specialists.
