Riverside Public Library
Summer Reading Program
¡Hola! Welcome, fellow readers, to the Adult Summer Reading Program! (Why let the kids have all the fun?) The theme this year is “Let’s Move! Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds.” (Or, as Mizz Reader likes to say, “Bikinify Your Body, Beef Up Your Brain.” Not that she finds the idea of wearing a bikini all that appealing. She’ll stick with her pink leotard and Chucks, thank you. She does, however, enjoy the B alliteration.)
Information on how to register is now posted here on our blog.
For detailed information on how the program works, see our FAQs page. In addition to weekly prize drawings (a huge shout-out to the generous donors who made this possible–check out their links above), we will be offering a Grand Prize Drawing for a Nook HD 7″ Tablet. Winners’ names will be announced each Saturday on our blog.
Registration for the adult program is entirely online, and all reviews will be posted online, as well. You’ll receive a username for your account, and you’ll also have the ability to upload an avatar. The best part: all your summer reading titles and reviews will be cached for you! All you need is a valid RPL card to get started.
If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot an email to Mizz Reader!
Here’s to a summer filled with good books, good health, and the occasional Hula Hoop Flashmob convening on the Main library’s front lawn! (More info on that later…)
