:: About Heritage House Tours

Docent Guided Tours

Docents in Victorian Dress provide a 45 minute tour of the house and property. On select Sundays throughout the year, the docents present a "Living History" day when visitors step into the hustle and bustle of a busy Victorian household as costumed docents go about "living" in the house.

Group Tours Welcome

Heritage House welcomes school classes and other group tours. Our school tours are aimed at supporting California State Standards for Riverside's third graders.

Special Events Throughout the Year

The volunteers at Heritage House host a number of special events each year... a Christmas Open House, a Summer Ice Cream Social, and a series of Victorian Garden Teas in the spring. Please contact Teresa Woodard at (951) 826-5273, or via email at twoodard@riversideca.gov.

Call for Volunteers

Heritage House is always seeking new volunteers to participate in our tours and programs. Training classes are conducted every fall and spring and are scheduled at the mutual convenience of our docent trainer and our docent trainees.
