Riverside, Ca- On Tuesday, November 07, 2000, at approximately 5:36 A.M., Riverside Police Officers were dispatched a residence in the 8100 block of Cypress regarding a request for medical aid. They arrived following the Riverside Fire Department, who had just pronounced a two-month old infant in the residence dead.
Investigators from the General Investigations Bureau were called to the residence and determined the infant lived at the residence with his parents and two brothersí age three and six. The infant was asleep with both parents and his three-year-old brother on a bed in one of two bedrooms. The infantís mother awoke and found the infant was not breathing and called the Police Department requesting medical assistance. The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coronerís office. The infant has been identified as Darnell Prince Williams, two months old, of Riverside.
