Riverside, California - At approximately 6:57AM on 11-20-2000, a collision occurred at Wells Av and Warren Street. The preliminary investigation revealed a pedestrian was struck by a Chevy S-10 Pick-up as he was crossing Wells Avenue in a northbound direction. The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Wells Avenue in the #1 lane of traffic. The deceased victim has been identified as Teodoro Garcia, 77, of Riverside. The driver of the vehicle, Robert Tesso, 37, of Riverside, was not injured in the collision.
The Riverside Police Department’s M.A.I.T. team responded to the scene and the investigation into this collision is continuing.
