Riverside, CA— A peaceful demonstration/march took place in Riverside today. A group of approximately 400 men, women, and children gathered at the Islamic mosque, which is located at 1038 Linden Street, at 2:00 p.m. They marched on foot from the mosque down University Avenue to Eucalyptus Avenue, and then back to the mosque. The march ended at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Riverside Police, assisted by officers from the University of California at Riverside PD, the California Highway Patrol, and members of the Riverside Fire Department monitored the march. No incidents occurred.
