Riverside, Ca- On Sunday, April 08, 2001, around 0424 hours the Riverside Police Department received a call of a armed robbery that just occurred at the Rock’s Club located at 10102 Indiana. Upon arrival, officers learned the following:
Some employees were inside the business getting ready to leave the club when they were surprised by (3) armed gunmen. The gunmen had them lay on the floor while one of them took an undisclosed amount of money and jewelry from the employees and business. During the robbery, one of the robber’s firearm went off and injured him. The injury is suspected to be in the lower abdomen, leg or foot area. The robbers left the business and fled in a dark colored, small to mid size sports car type vehicle toward Tyler Ave.
The suspects were wearing dark clothing and ski masks. One of them was wearing tan baggy style pants. They ranged in height from 5’08" – 6’01" and were described as medium to light heavy in weight. At least one of them was Hispanic and had a thin mustache or goatee.
