Riverside, Ca. - At approximately 6:34pm on July 3, 2001, officers were called to Jackson south of Colony regarding a major injury collision.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 1985 Ford Bronco II was traveling northbound on Jackson and turned left into a shopping center driveway. While making the left turn, a motorcycle traveling southbound on Jackson, struck the right side of the Bronco II. The driver of the motorcycle and occupant were taken to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment of injuries where they are currently listed in critical condition. The driver of the Bronco, Thomas Hughes, 45, of Riverside was uninjured in the collision.
The Riverside Police Departmentís Major Accident Investigation Team was called to the scene for further investigation into the collision.
