Riverside, Ca- Riverside Police Chief Russ Leach announced the promotion of five detectives to the rank of Sergeant, three Sergeants to the rank of Lieutenant, and one Lieutenant to the rank of Captain. The promotions will be effective Friday, March 16, 2001.
Lieutenant David Dominguez has been promoted to the rank of Captain. Sergeants Mark Boyer, John Carpenter and Darryl Hurt have been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Detectives Frank Assumma, Mike Cook, Brian Kittinger, Cliff Mason and Mike Perea have been promoted to Sergeant
There will be a ceremony Friday morning, March 9, at 10:00 in the Mayors Ceremonial Room at City Hall.
