Riverside, Ca. - At approximately 4:02 p.m., a 2 1/2 year old female darted from behind a parked vehicle and was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on Tenth St., west of Park Ave. The child received moderate internal injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Loma Linda University Hospital. The collision is still under investigation. The driver was not cited.
