Riverside, Ca- At 2:40 P.M., officer responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Glenbrook Drive, regarding a despondent adult male who was sitting in his driveway. The subject was armed with a handgun and threatening to harm himself and/or the responding officers. Another male resident at the same location left and met officers down the street.
Riverside Police Department communications personnel were able to talk to the man, via telephone, and convince him to surrender to officers outside the residence. The subject surrendered without incident and was transported for an evaluation.
