Riverside, Ca- In recent years, the Riverside Police Department has experienced an increase in juvenile related crimes occurring in the nighttime hours such as vandalism, assaults and alcohol related traffic collisions. The Riverside Police Department’s School Resource Officer Unit will increase enforcement of curfew violations in an effort to reduce juvenile crime. The curfew enforcement project will be conducted on Nov. 30th, from 10:00 p.m. through 5:00 a.m. During the specified hours, juveniles under the age of 18 are required to be coming to or from an event or accompanied by their parents.
