Riverside, Ca- At
approximately 2:40pm, officers were called to the area of Noble and Flagstone
regarding a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
When officers arrived on scene, they received information that a Pontiac Grand Am had been traveling southbound on Noble south of Flagstone. The Pontiac struck a four year old child who ran out into street in an eastbound direction. AMR arrived on scene and transported the child to Riverside Community Hospital. The child was identified as Alexis Gonzalez, 4 yrs, from Riverside. Alexis Gonzalez received an injury to his head and left leg. The driver of the Pontiac was identified as Linda Barrerra, 50 yrs, from Riverside.
The Riverside Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team was called to the scene to conduct further investigation into the collision.
