Riverside, Ca- At approximately 8:45 P.M. on Monday, October 29, 2001 officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 1800 Block of Loma Vista St. On arrival they discovered a 19 year old black male from Riverside with a gunshot wound to his left arm. He was treated at the scene and transported by AMR ambulance to Riverside Community Hospital. His wound did not appear to be life threatening.
The suspects were described as two Hispanic males wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and last seen leaving the area in a light colored van.
No arrests have been made at this time. The Police Department gang unit is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Riverside Police Department Gang Unit at (909) 320-8100.
