Riverside, Ca- On 8-07-02 at 11:38 am,
officers from the Riverside Police Department were dispatched to the area of
Rutland Ave. and Randolph St. regarding a subject with a gun.
As officers were responding to Randolph St., a caller
from the 8400 block of Green Point St. called to report that a male subject had
arrived at their house suffering from a gunshot wound.
Riverside Police Officers and medical personnel responded to treat the
victim.
The suspect in the shooting, who is still outstanding, is
described as a white or Hispanic male, bald and in his late thirties to early
forties. He was said to have fled the area in a light blue or gray tractor truck
without the trailer attached.
Witnesses to the shooting were located and Detectives
from the Crimes Against Person's Unit responded to conduct the follow up
investigation.
The victim, whose name is not being released for his
safety, was treated and released from a local hospital. His injuries were not
life threatening.
