Father Arrested in Death of Child

Riverside, CA – On February 25, 2002, investigators from the Riverside Police Department’s Child Abuse unit arrested a seventeen (17) year old male in connection with the death of his eight (8) month old daughter. The unconscious child had been brought to Parkview Hospital in Riverside by her parents on February 19, 2002, and transferred to Loma Linda Medical Center shortly after. The child, who had sustained abusive head trauma, died Thursday February 21, 2002, after being removed from life support. The father has been booked into Juvenile Hall and charged with Murder.
