Riverside, CA – Riverside Police Officers and Detectives, from the Homicide Investigations Unit, were called to the 2600 block of Falling Oak Drive in response to a death investigation.
Daniel Medina, a 30 year old Riverside resident, was found deceased on the front lawn of his home by family members. There was an altercation earlier in the night between Mr. Medina and other family members, and he was left sleeping on the front lawn. When members of Mr. Medina's family attempted to wake him some time later, they discovered he had died.
The cause of death is unknown at this time, pending an autopsy and Coroner's evaluation. Detectives are conducting a death investigation regarding this incident.
