Riverside, CA – The University Neighborhood Enhancement Team (U.N.E.T.), which is made up of officers from the Riverside and UCR Police Departments, will be hosting a Child Safety Fair for the families living in the UCR Family housing area. The event will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2002 from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Crest Park located at Plum St. and Canyon Crest Dr. Also assisting will be members from the El Protector Program, the California Highway Patrol and the Corona Police Department.
The event will include, informational booths, police vehicle displays, booster and car seat information, children’s bicycle rodeo, bicycle helmet safety, food, music and much more.
