Homicide Victim Found Near Fairmount Park

Riverside, Ca-  On November 3, 2002, at approximately 0713 hours, Riverside Police Officers responded to a homeless encampment near Fairmount Park regarding the report of a subject down.  Upon arrival, officers were directed to the dirt field to the rear of a residence located in the 2300 block of Northbend Street.  Officers discovered a female adult victim approximately  59 years old.  The victim’s identity is being confirmed by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office and will not be publicized until after notification to the victim’s family.
