Riverside, Ca- On October 15, 2002, investigators with the Riverside Police Department’s Homicide and Gang units and officers with Riverside County Probation’s Gang and Warrant Team, arrested Zeus Serrano in connection with the murder of thirteen (13) year old Markess Lancaster on October 5, 2002. Serrano, a former Riverside resident and admitted gang member, was arrested upon leaving his home in Perris. Serrano, twenty (20) years old was booked into Riverside County Jail for murder, possession of a loaded firearm and violation of probation.
