On December 22, 2003 at 2113 hours, officers
responded to Third St and Trade Center Dr. for a victim of a shooting.
The victim, Daniel Dennis Gonzales Jr. 18 years of Riverside, was driving with a
female passenger when unknown suspects in another vehicle drove along the driver
side and fired shots into the victim’s vehicle. The victim, who was driving at
the time, was struck by the gunfire.
He was transported to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment and is in
critical condition.
