Riverside Police Seek Child Sexual Predator

Riverside, Ca-  Members of the Riverside Police Department’s Investigations Division are seeking the help of the public in identifying and locating a sexual predator who has been stalking children as they walk home from school in the South portion of the City of Riverside. Police are investigating nine (9) incidents so far. The female victims range from age eight to 13.

The suspect usually rides a bicycle toward a young female victim, has some type of verbal exchange of a lewd nature, and then exposes his genitals to the victim. On several occasions, the suspect has attempted to grab the victim’s arms or legs. The suspect has become more aggressive and has used a pocket- knife to threaten one ten year old victim before she fled from him.

The suspect’s description is a male Hispanic, 20 to 30 years of age, 5’ 5” to 5’ 7”, and weighing between 130 and 150 pounds. He has black hair possibly spiked or bushy with a thin mustache. His front teeth have been described as yellow, gold, or gray with gold lining around the teeth. He has been riding a pink to purple adult bicycle.

Attached is a police sketch artist’s rendition of the suspect. If anyone sees the suspect, he/she is encouraged to call the Riverside Police emergency line at 911.
