Riverside, Ca- The Riverside Police
Department along with the Inland Empire Cops & Clergy Network will be hosting a
luncheon on Wednesday, May 14, 2003 from 12 pm – 2 pm, at the Boathouse in
Fairmount Park, located at 2707 Locust Street in the City of Riverside. Do not
miss this wonderful gathering of law enforcement, pastors, and service
organizations working in unison to strengthen and preserve families and
communities. Together, we can make a difference.
Lunch will be provided for all attendee’s. A presentation will be given by
Jennifer Vaughan-Blakely with the California Council of Churches and by W.
Robert Brunson, Jr. with Prevent Child Abuse.
The Guest Speaker for the event is Rev. Monrow A. Mabon, Esquire who is an
Attorney with the State of California and a retired Los Angeles Police Officer.
He is currently responsible for legal matters involving the California
Department of Corrections and Parole in Los Angeles, San Diego, Imperial, San
Bernardino and Riverside counties.
