Riverside, Ca- On September 6, 2003, at 2103 hours, officers of the
Riverside Police Department responded to a major injury traffic collision
involving a single vehicle into a fence on Martin Luther King Blvd east of Iowa.
The female driver veered off the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree
and a fence and her vehicle came to rest inside an orange grove area.
The woman, a 64 year old Riverside resident, received major injuries and was
pronounced deceased at the scene.
Members of the Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.)
responded and the collision is being investigated.
