On-Duty Officer Injury Collision

Location: Cochran Av. & Penrod Dr.
Time: 7:20 AM

Riverside, Ca-  A Riverside Police Department Motor Officer was involved in a minor injury traffic collision on Cochran Av. & Penrod Dr. The officer was traveling east on Cochran when a second vehicle turned from eastbound Cochran to northbound Penrod. The officer’s motorcycle collided with the driver’s side front fender of the second vehicle.

The officer suffered minor abrasions and a possible fractured collarbone. The officer was treated and released from Riverside Community Hospital. The juvenile driver of the second vehicle was not injured.

The investigation is being conducted by the Traffic Division of the Riverside Police Department.
