Riverside, Ca- Effective Monday, December 5, 2005, Mr. Steven Frasher will be the primary Press Information Officer contact at the Riverside Police Department.

Steven Frasher joined the City of Riverside in 2003, serving as Assistant to the Mayor and as coordinator of the Mayor's Night Out program. A graduate of the University of Washington, Mr. Frasher worked as a journalist in Seattle, as a reporter and editor for an award-winning community newspaper in British Columbia, and from 2001-2003 as a reporter for the Inland Empire-based Business Press.

Mr. Frasher transferred to the Riverside Police Department in November of 2005 and is assigned as the Adjutant to the Chief of Police.
