Riverside, Ca- At approximately 8:00 PM, officers responded to the 2000 block of Linden Street reference several calls of shots heard in the area.

Officers arrived to find a male adult victim suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he is being treated for his wound and is in stable condition.

A 9-year-old female was standing near the shooting scene and apparently was struck by debris from the fired shots. She received a minor skin abrasion to her body. She was treated at the scene and released to family members.

Riverside Police Officers and officers from UNET (University Neighborhood Enhancement Team) searched the area however no suspects were identified.
