Holiday Business Watch Campaign

Riverside, Ca- On November 10, 2005 the Riverside Police Department will launch a Holiday Business Watch Campaign that will continue through January 3, 2006. Police Chief Russ Leach recognizes that crime can cost businesses billions of dollars each year, especially during the holiday season. It can cost small businesses and customers both financially and emotionally after a wave of crime. If you have business products, inventory, equipment or money, you have what someone else wants and you need to protect your assets. The holiday season is no time to be a victim!

In partnership with the Greater Riverside Chamber of Commerce, the Riverside Police Department will offer and schedule seminars at no cost to area businesses on a variety of crime prevention issues including but not limited to:

Identity Theft
Credit Card and Check Fraud
Employee Theft (shrinkage)
Lighting, Landscaping and Locks
