Riverside, Ca- On Thursday, April 15, 2004 officers from the Riverside
Police Department will be bowling with 7th and 8th graders from Chemawa Middle
School at Tava Lanes located at 3439 Arlington Avenue in Riverside.
This event is being hosted by the Riverside Unified School District as part of
their Primetime After-School Program. This program is funded by a state
After-School, Education and Safety program and a federal 21st Century Community
Learning Centers grant. The purpose of this program is to provide academic
support and a safe place for kids to participate in a variety of enrichment and
recreational activities during after school hours.
