Major Injury Traffic Collision

Driver-2: Fernando Delgado (32) City of Rancho Cucamonga
D-2’s Vehicle-White 1999 Ford ¾ Ton Van
 

Riverside, Ca-  Mr. Alivar (D-1) was stopped at the stop sign for E/B Garner at Main. Mr. Delgado (D-2) was S/B Main approaching Garner in the #2 lane of travel. Mr. Alviar attempted a R/turn from E/B Garner to N/B Main directly into Mr. Delgado’s path. Mr. Delgado attempted to avoid the collision however was unable to do so.

Mr. Alviar was treated at the scene by members of the Riverside Fire Department and transported to Riverside Community Hospital (RCH). Mr. Alviar suffered head and facial lacerations and unknown internal injuries. Mr. Alviar was admitted to RCH in serious condition. Mr. Delgado was uninjured and declined medical attention.

The investigation is being conducted by the Traffic Division of the Riverside Police Department.
