Riverside, Ca-  At 2351 hours, January 7, 2004, officers of the Riverside Police Department responded to the 7600 block of Peters Street in the Casa Blanca area of Riverside after a man called reporting that his friend was just shot.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim, a teen Hispanic male, was walking on Peters Street with the friend when a subject, who was also on foot, shot him. The victim was transported by ambulance to Riverside Community Hospital where he later died.
