Fatal Traffic Collision

Riverside, Ca-  At approximately 11:00 AM units from the Riverside Police Department were dispatched the above location on a radio call of a traffic collision involving a motorcycle. In addition to Police units, medical aid was also dispatched to the collision.

Location: 11900 Blk. Knoefler Dr. Riverside, Ca.
Victim: Marc Matthews Edgar (34) Riverside, Ca.

The victim was riding a 2001 Honda 1100 motorcycle west on Knoeffler Dr. from Ambs St. He lost control of the motorcycle and collided with a block wall. Emergency medical personnel from the Riverside Fire Department treated the victim for his injuries at the scene. The victim suffered trauma to the head and body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.

The Riverside Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the collision.
