Police Seek Help in Identifying Suspect
in Daytime Jewelry Theft
 

Riverside, Ca-  On Thursday July 1, 2004, an unknown suspect entered the Jewelry Express store at the Galleria at Tyler (3600 Tyler Street), Riverside to have a watch repaired. While the clerk and the repairman were distracted, the suspect picked the lock to a display case and removed several Rolex watches. After the repair was completed, the suspect left the store. The video surveillance system was reviewed the next morning and suspect was observed taking the watches in putting them in his pocket.

The Riverside Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect pictured on the surveillance tape. He is described as a male black, 5’8” – 5’10”, 200 pounds with short-cropped hair, and a moustache.
