Store Clerk In Critical Condition

Riverside, Ca-  On July 21, 2004 at approximately 11:07 P.M. Riverside police officers responded to the TJ Mart Convenience Store located at 3815 La Sierra Avenue after a man was found injured in the parking lot. Upon arrival the officers discovered the 31 year-old clerk had been struck by a vehicle leaving the store. He was transported to Riverside Community Hospital where he is in critical condition. He sustained serious head injuries.

Witnesses saw a newer model white Ford F-150 pick-up truck leaving the parking lot at a high rate of speed. The vehicle had an extended cab and a chrome toolbox across the truck bed. It was occupied by at least two men and was last seen traveling northbound on La Sierra Avenue.
