Vehicle Versus Unidentified Bicyclist

Riverside, Ca-  On Saturday May 22, 2004 at about 9:37 P.M. Riverside Police Officers responded to Harrison St and Victoria Ave after receiving a call about a man on a bike having struck a mini van. Upon arrival officers located an unidentified white male adult in his early 40’s lying in the roadway suffering from severe head trauma. He was transported by ambulance to Riverside Community Hospital where he is listed in extreme critical condition.

The driver of the mini van and witnesses stated the bicyclist failed to yield for a stop sign and struck the side of the van with his bike and head. The driver of the van was not cited. The bicyclist has yet to be identified.
