Attempted Suicide
 

Riverside, Ca-  Shortly after 10 am, Riverside Police Officers responded to the 3300 block of Norfolk Drive to investigate an attempt suicide. A relative telephoned 911 from the residence and told the dispatcher that the victim, a 29-year-old female, had shot herself. When officers arrived and entered the residence, they found the victim with what appeared to be a single gunshot wound. The relative who reported the incident was also at the scene and was interviewed by detectives.

Riverside Fire Department personnel arrived and treated the victim at the scene before transporting her to via ambulance to Kaiser Hospital. The victim remains in critical condition.
