Attempted Murder with Knife
 

Riverside, Ca-  At approximately 3:00pm on November 25, 2004, officers of the Riverside Police Department responded to the alley at 4th and Chestnut Streets where they located a stabbing victim. Paramedics provided on-scene treatment to the victim who was subsequently transported to Riverside Community Hospital and underwent emergency surgery. The victim remains in critical condition.

Investigation revealed the victim and suspect were at the location and began to argue. During this argument, the suspect drew a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper torso. Based upon information provided by the victim and several bystanders, officers of the department located the suspect on the pedestrian mall at 9th and Main Streets where he was taken into custody without incident. Following questioning, the suspect was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center.
