Video Theft Suspect Arrested

Riverside, Ca- On 08-23-2006, Riverside Police Department Detectives released a surveillance video of an unidentified suspect stealing video cameras outside a local dentist office. The surveillance footage was shown on local news stations and in a local newspaper. As a result of the surveillance footage, detectives received several tips from the public and identified Charles “Chuck” Posvar, 35 of Riverside as the suspect wanted for the theft. On Tuesday August 29, 2006, detectives served a search warrant on Mr. Posvar’s residence and arrested him for 487 P.C. (Grand Theft).
