Riverside, Ca- On February 9, 2006, at 2:56am, a 23-year-old white male from Moreno Valley was driving his gray 1985 Toyota Corolla east on Alessandro approaching Barton Road in the number two lane. According to a witness, the driver slowly veered off the road, up over the south curb and into a concrete light standard just west of the Barton Road intersection.

The witness called 911 and Riverside Police and Fire were called to the scene. The Toyota Corolla was found on the grass just south of the light standard and the driver and sole occupant, was unresponsive and found to have suffered unknown trauma injuries.

Riverside Fire personnel pronounced 23-year-old Jarrod Pearrow deceased at the scene.

Members of the Riverside Police Department’s (M.A.I.T.) Major Accident Investigation Team responded and the collision is under investigation. Anyone with additional information is asked to call Detective Rick Prince at (951)826-5179.
