Public Safety Expo – Saturday, July 8
Riverside, Ca- The Riverside Police Department, Riverside Fire Department and the Riverside County Sheriff’s
Department are jointly hosting the 2nd Annual Inland Empire Public Safety Expo, featuring more than 40 federal, state,
county and local law enforcement and public safety agencies with information and application packages for a wide variety
of careers in these and other related fields.
The Public Safety Expo is taking place this Saturday, July 8, 2006, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Riverside Convention
Center, 3443 Orange St., in downtown Riverside.
Multiple agencies from Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego counties, and beyond, are seeking
qualified applicants for existing openings in roles including police officer, deputy sheriff, firefighter, 911 dispatcher,
correctional officer, probation officer, investigator, cook, counselor and clerical support staff. There will also be
community college and university representatives on hand to discuss certificate and degree programs available to enhance
career opportunities.
