Neighborhood Watch Academy graduates 20 Riverside, Ca- The Riverside Police Department will graduate its second Neighborhood Watch Academy class, with 20 new community leaders wrapping up eight weeks of comprehensive training with the Community Policing Unit. Class Two of the Neighborhood Watch Academy will be graduating this Thursday, November 30, 2006, at 6 p.m., at California School for the Deaf – Riverside, 3044 Horace St., the host site for the Academy’s second session. The graduating leaders, of all ages, are from the following neighborhoods: Arlington Heights, Canyon Crest, La Sierra, La Sierra Hills, La Sierra South, Northside, Orangecrest, Presidential Park, Victoria and Wood Streets. As of November 30, 2006, the Neighborhood Watch Academy will have graduated a total of 64 community leaders.
