ATM Theft Ring Arrests
Riverside, Ca- Detectives continue to investigate two Riverside men arrested recently for a series of ATM thefts in Riverside and nearby counties.
Darrin AGBARA, 38, was recognized on surveillance video at an attempted Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) burglary from a Main Street market deli in Riverside’s Northside neighborhood at about 1 a.m. on October 17, 2006. Agbara was seen on the video allegedly attaching a chain from a pick-up truck to the metal gates of the market, ripping away the gates, smashing the glass front door and attempting to steal the ATM machine before fleeing when an audible alarm sounded.
Agbara was arrested for commercial burglary during a warrant search of a residence in the 800-block of Orange Street on October 27, 2006. Also arrested at the residence were Ronnie Granado, 39, of San Bernardino, for being a felon in possession of a gun and drugs; James Yilmaz, 21, of Fontana, for being under the influence of drugs while in possession of a firearm; Mario Loredo, 36, of Moreno Valley, for a parole warrant, and April Mojarro, 26, of Riverside, for a felony warrant.

Two Riverside cases occurred on November 14, 2006. Suspects unsuccessfully attempted to steal an ATM at a drug store in the 6600-block of Magnolia Avenue at 3 a.m., but succeeded in stealing an ATM from a gas station in the 4800-block of Van Buren Blvd. at 3:30 a.m. Again, surveillance video helped identify a suspect.
