Temporary closure of RPD Lincoln Avenue Station
Renovation begins; police field personnel relocate to Magnolia and Orange stations

Riverside, Ca- The Riverside Police Department’s Lincoln Avenue Station will be closed for renovations, beginning Friday, July 27, 2007. The closure is expected to last at least four months.

The station currently serves as base of Field Operations for the North and East Neighborhood Policing Centers – two of Riverside’s four police precinct areas.

The temporary closure of the Lincoln Avenue Station is needed to facilitate an extensive remodeling of the structure and grounds. The $1.6 million remodeling project is expected to take four months.

Riverside Police Department Field Operations Personnel assigned to the Lincoln Avenue Station will move to the Magnolia Avenue Station situated at 10540 Magnolia Avenue. North and East NPC Detectives are working out of Orange Street Station at 4102 Orange St., in Downtown Riverside.
