Tequesquite Landfill Solar Project

The Tequesquite Landfill Solar PV Project is a 7 megawatt solar power farm that will be operated by Sun Power, LLC on top of the decommissioned Tequesquite landfill. The project is currently under construction and expected to be completed by September 2015. It is another unique and innovative approach that Riverside is using to leverage local land resources into renewable power for the benefit of the community.

Residents in the area may experience periodic truck traffic along Tequesquite Avenue from March 2015 throughout September 2015 on Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00pm. If you have questions or concerns, please call RPU Project Manager, Ron Barry, at 951-826-8506, or email rbarry@riversideca.gov.

Thank you in advance for your patience during construction.
