MCLE Domestic Violence Restraining Orders

Riverside County Law Library, a California State Bar-approved MCLE provider, certifies that this program is approved for 1.0 hour of participatory MCLE credit.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided (must pre-register). The cost is $25.00.

This program will be offered FREE of charge for attorneys that pledge to volunteer at an upcoming Inland Empire Latino Lawyer's Association (IELLA) Legal Aid Clinic.

Aruna P. Rodrigo will present on the topic of Domestic Violence Restraining Orders: Beginning to End with Implications for Custody and Visitation. This informative MCLE session will include information about the following areas:

Purpose of the Domestic Violence Prevention Act (DVPA);
Mandatory Judicial Counsel forms and local forms required under the DVPA;
Definition of "Abuse" under Family Code 6203;
